About Us
Jason Haley
Jason Haley is a hunter, angler and outdoor writer from the great outdoor town of Burney, CA, now living in Rogue Valley, OR. He's a member of the Northwest Outdoor Writers Association (NOWA), State Secretary of the Oregon Hunters Association and regular contributor to several print magazines. He also manages southern Oregon for MyOutdoorBuddy.com, an online outdoor news magazine covering the State of Jefferson.
Products/Services
Services include freelance hunting, fishing and outdoor/travel articles, company and product pro-staffing/promotion, and advertising. Our first book about hunting and life with a remarkable Brittany pup we raised will be available in the fall of 2019.
Then and Now
There was a sporting goods/pool hall on the west end of town when I was a kid. Dad used to sit me on top of a pinball machine with M&Ms and I'd watch the men play snooker and swap stories. Mounted fish and game of all kinds looked down on the scene while crickets chirped from the bait bin. The outdoors were big in our little town. Forty years later, I'm still immersed in the outdoors, but have kids of my own. The world has changed a ton, but we're trying to preserve and share our outdoor heritage, a trip at a time.
